about

Our debut studio full-length. produced by Geoff Rickly of Thursday fame and Released on now defunct New Jersey based label Astro Magnetics, a subsidiary of Eyeball Records and home to such bands as The Valley Arena and Secret Lives Of The Freemasons. We lived in a haunted, run down practice room, with no windows in New Jersey for about 2 months writing this record. Lots of things happened in that room. Use your imagination. We had lots of peanut butter. The Number 12 Looks Like You and SoniminoS also practiced there. We then took these songs and spent a whole week, 9 or 10 hours a day recording them in a really professional studio in upstate New York winter of 2004. This was our first time in a recording studio of this length and girth...kind of intimidating if you've never had that cherry popped...but hey, after chasing a couple Percocets with 9 or 10 Miller High Lifes; anything seems like a wet dream. We warmed up real quick and got to play really expensive vintage amps and guitars and shit. Fun times.
